Walsall
I like the picture because of the gliter and creativity of this picture. it is made out of squashed butterflies but are placed in a particular order.
I think this picture is really good because of the emotion of the character; this relates to lost memories as he looks melancholy because of something sad that could have been a memory that is fading away.
This sculpture has the same affect as the top picture but vice versa. The child looks happy; I like this picture because the sculpture gives a good atmosphere.
This looks like a happy united family although the picture is split into small boxes kind of meaning that the family is separated as they have grown up and moved on in life; it is not quite a forgotten memory as the boxes are still matched up to form an image and is linked to the sculpture I showed you at the beginning.
This girl looks sad and distraught but also shocked, i know this because of the artists given facial expression. I like this picture as the painting/ images are vibrant and clear.
The description is the same as the above pictures depending on their emotions. They all show something different according to their facial expressions like I said before.
This building was eye catching because of its texture by layering things on top each other.
The image above shows nature and peace. I founded this interesting as this could be the theme I might want to go with (nature).
The family is linked together in unity as friends. Another theme I could look at (family).
I like this piece because it shows different emotions. They all have different facial expressions.
The people are in the image and it looks like people are dancing and it is a memory of good times that have not been forgotten, although, it could have been a bad memory as the people are stuck in a cage which means that the memories are locked up and cannot be retrieved.
The church is fading away but relates to faded memories as the stain glass windows looked shattered. The windows tells a story that is going away.
This image looks like the dead trying to get out of their place, surprisingly, this goes with my theme because someone could be dead but is trying to reach out to you before your memories fade away completely.
This is from a book. This would really go with my theme as the image is fading away and therefore is not visible
New Birmingham Museum
I really like this work as it is a small picture frame but in gold. This could show how precious the image is to that person, the smallness of the image makes me feel comfortable.

.These are things that they gathered from Egypt. |

I liked this sculpture because of the texture it has a dotted texture.
These pictures show movement. It relates to my theme, if i were to do this as my final piece, all my picture would be laid out in life order. the horse would symbolises moving up in life and age and the then forgetting certain memories. some of my pictures could be fixed but at the end become blurry and start to fade away.

The spiral is a creative form of art .

This is illusion art, as you can see that when the picture is looked at from a corner, the picture looks like it is popping out of the wall although as you can see from the right picture, when looked at from the front it looks like a normal hallway.
This shows a meeting/ gathering of people.
This is the history fit into several pieces of art. This could relate to my theme because the past that is remembered are put in frames which means they have not been forgotten and has the fairy tale background in it.
This picture relates to memories as it is kind of saying that the person that supposedly died sent an angel to watch over you even thought your memories of that person may be lost.
IKON

This picture is really creative because there is a large stack of books that are still balanced in one position. The books are all the same size and shape but have different book titles, authors and many more. This relates to lost memories as all the memories of someone or something are pile up in one place in lots of books by different people.

This is a presentation of tubes that are connected together. The picture to the right is a picture of the other side of the stairs, I thought this was interesting because of the repeated pattern
This is an enlarged image of the piece below.
Offensive words are found on this picture but the words are upside down. The artist is breaking all of their anger out unto one art work but presenting it upside down for viewers and so that he can forget all his memories and anger that is traumatizing him.
These words create a background using primary colours that are attractive to the eye. Although the colurs of the background change frequently, the colours are always primary colours.
These are the drawrings
that I did while I was in the museums. The one on the left is from Walsall and right is
the new Birmingham
museums.
