My work so far

This is my first work I did in September using pen and pencil (line drawing).

We started looking at shells as it seemed to have a nice flat and smooth texture when drawing.

The page on the right ,as you can see, I used pencil which I thought was more affective since it is for me to add in different tonnes and shading.

Here I started using charcoal in black.It was my first time of using charcoal.
 If you look at the first shell, I drew it but  it did not really turn out well. The second and the third shell went well as I was to show the real character of the shell as you can read in my big sketch book.
