He started of with studying fashion for years and he used to produce intricate designs for films, theatre, fashion advertisement ad even military. He started being a fine artist in 2010 he likes working with inks and watercolours. He always has a way of getting your attention on his work.
For me his work looks like a composition because he has all this splashes and colours going on in the picture. The faces I think pulls you in to his art work as they all have different expressions.

I really like his work because he creates this nice image of a person and blends it in with nature.
I thought this would go well with the theme because his work looks like someone who is fading away from the world or is being forgotten. Also, they could be looking down on a person but their already dead. In my opinion I think the nature represents peace, this could also be representing death because they will "rest in peace."
The size of the work could tell us how important the painting is to the artist as it is in a very large scale.
Eric Montoya was born in America and started painting in 1968. He was interested in technology and art. What he was trying to get out of his work is the personalities. For example the roses could show how caring or loving the person is. He does not just take random pictures of natures he goes around places or uses a colour related to a culture.
